message on an Interstate 95 billboard on the city's Southside that
promotes the Web site

Drivers will encounter a new traffic pattern
from Interstate 10 eastbound to I-95 northbound on Sunday, April 13th.
Currently, there are separate lanes for the northbound through traffic
and the northbound traffic using the downtown exits at Forsyth Street,
Monroe Street and Kings Road. On Sunday morning all northbound
traffic, regardless of it's destination, will use the ramp once
designated for the downtown exits. This new traffic pattern will last

Construction zones are danger zones not only for
workers but motorists as well. That's where Operation Hardhat enters
the picture with radar. On Thursday, the Florida Highway Patrol using
a trooper dressed in construction clothes with radar in hand looked
for speeders in a construction zone on Interstate 95 near the airport.
"Slow down a little bit I guess," said William Solomon who got tagged
with a warning ticket for going faster than the posted speed limit of

A 3-year-old child and her mother were
hospitalized Thursday after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 95
downtown. The Florida Highway Patrol said the woman was driving
southbound erratically before her car rear-ended a van. The child, who
was not property restrained in a car seat, was ejected, according to

A Jacksonville man was hospitalized in critical
condition Sunday afternoon after his truck spun out of control and
struck a tree along Interstate 95 Sunday, the Florida Highway Patrol
said. Wayne L. Brown II, 29, was driving north on Interstate 95 near
Old St. Augustine Road when he lost control of his vehicle. The
vehicle spun, drove onto the shoulder and then hit a tree with its
passenger side. Brown was flown by helicopter to Shands Jacksonville

A Jacksonville woman died late Thursday evening
after a single-car crash on Interstate 95 just north of state Road 9A.
The fatal wreck took place at about 11:10 p.m., when the vehicle in
which 50-year-old Pamela Joy Corl was traveling began to fishtail.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the vehicle was towing a travel
trailer. Investigators said the driver, 47-year-old Danner Brown,
overcorrected when his vehicle began to fishtail, causing it skid and

A local family is taking on one of NASCAR's
biggest names following a rear end crash by a tractor trailer. In
November 2006, Michael Harris and his son, 21 year old Chris, were
driving in their pick up truck headed south on Interstate 95 in St.
John's County. Harris was several cars in front of a Champion tractor
trailer. Traffic started to back up and slow down on the interstate.
Harris' lawyer, Charles Sorenson, says he slowed down to, going about
